When: Wilby Park Motor Sports Inc. is an independent speedway club. We are a non-profit club operated wholly by volunteers. We hold 8 speedway meetings per race season from October to May inclusive. We also hold 3 dedicated drag/burnout meetings usually October, February and May. We don’t hold any race meetings during the winter months for safety reasons. Speedway races are usually held on the 3^rd Sunday of the month during our race season, racing commences at 11 am.

For speedway race days the charge for competitors is $12 plus $3 at Pit office. Spectator adults $12, students/pensioners $8, 15 and under are free.

Drag days competitors $30, spectator adults $15, students/pensioners $10 and 15 and under are free.

Our food van/canteen makes appetising hamburgers and there’s hot dogs, coffee, tea, cold drinks and a variety of lollies for the kids. There is also a playground for the little ones. A local soft serve ice cream van is usually in attendance. There is NO alcohol served or available at the venue. Definitely no alcohol in the pits.  $10 for a pit pass and must be 12 years of age and over.

We have the St. John’s Ambulance attend all our meetings. We also have the local fire brigade in attendance at all meetings.

“Where is Wilby?”

Yes, it is on the Victorian map:

South of Yarrawonga and in between Tungamah and Peechelba. Wilby Park is 13 km east of Tungamah and is on the Peechelba Road. The entrance to our track is via Cemetery Road, which is on the right just before you reach the Wilby Township. There is a large speedway sign on the left a few meters from the Cemetery Road turnoff.
